Dustin: A short film perfect for teaching PERSONIFICATION
Dustin, an adorable, but spoiled dog, gets a new house guest when his owners buy a robot floor cleaner. This little annoyance becomes competition for food crumbs that are dropped to the floor! Eventually, Dustin realizes it’s fun to play with the robot, and they become best buds. This workshop teaches students how to recognize personification, foreshadowing, the effects of setting, conflict, and how to make inferences. Students will LOVE analyzing each scene and working directly on the slides! Highly scaffolded, real-world leaning!
